About Us

Kelly’s Story

I am a former Ballroom Dancer with an Interior Design degree, I have a strong desire to create beauty in everything I do. I taught ballroom dancing for 15 years and one of my favorite things was working with wedding couples, helping them to develop their vision and make it a reality. Now I look forward to utilizing my creative ability to help bring your vision to life through flowers.

In 2018, I married Beau, and we now have two children. A few years after having children, I had a strong calling to be on the farm with Beau and the kids. After many conversations and brainstorming sessions, I made the move from Ballroom Dance Instructor to Flower Farmer.

In choosing the name for this new endeavor, Bliss came to mind, reflecting the feeling I had when working on the farm with our children and my husband nearby. As time passed, ideas grew, and passion propagated this name choice became a no-brainer. Everything seemed to have been orchestrated perfectly, I just had to listen to the orchestra and Floral Bliss continued to bloom.

About the Farm

Floral Bliss is in the middle of a third-generation cattle farm, “S” - Co. Shorthorn Farms, located south of Hastings, in beautiful rural Minnesota. On this farm, started by the Swanson family in 1925, Walter and Agnes Swanson raised their 7 children along with chickens, turkeys, hogs, and shorthorn cattle. Today the farm, run by my husband Beau, continues to raise shorthorn cattle and has expanded into other breeds as well.

From full service to micro/elopement ceremonies, we will be your one stop florist for all things wedding! We are looking forward to creating lush, fresh bouquets with our seasonally inspired flowers.

~Events ~

We are excited to help you with any size event, centerpieces, floral fixtures and more!

~Workshops ~

There are a number of workshops that will be offered. One of which will be how to build your own flower arrangements and keep them fresh for days or even weeks! You can join one of our pre scheduled workshops or you can book a private party. ``

~Eloise (Weezie) ~

This young lady is here to be our mobile store front and assist with the farm! She can be found in Hastings selling some bouquets on the weekend and she is also for hire! She loves a good party, festival, and can even be a “build your own bouquet bar!”
